Product description
A mat made of rubber granules, used to improve sound insulation in the event of a very low superstructure height under ceramic cladding. The mats are placed in contact with a thin-layer or liquid mortar on the prepared substrate. The product is also used as a cut-off layer during repairs and in new buildings and in water heating systems.
Features
- smooth surface
- sound attenuation up to 17 dB
- alkali-resistant w
- for service loads up to 3 kN / m 2
- harmless to health
- recycled granulate, bound with elastomer
Application
- stress-relieving layer on fresh, threatened with the formation of shrinkage in concrete surfaces and cracks on screeds or mixed substrates
- Improving thermal insulation on poorly insulated screeds or on bonded screeds
- on poorly insulated floor surfaces
- on substrates that require particularly high acoustic insulation in combination with ceramic and natural stone cladding
- when laying stairs in multi-storey buildings
- cut-off layer especially recommended for critical, fresh substrates prone to the formation of shrinkage cracks
- cut-off layer when repairing old, load-bearing wooden floors (stiff and not deforming) or old ceramic cladding
- a layer that improves thermal insulation during repairs and modernizations and in new buildings
- cut-off layer on screeds in electric and water underfloor heating systems
- in rooms
