Execution

Preparatory work: On the cleaned surface mark out the location of the walls. Prepare the adhesive for waterproof gypsum boards - MultiGips Kleber Hydro in accordance with the technology of manufacture from the product card 6/16/05/2012. Using the prepared gypsum adhesive, stick the bitumen tape in the marked place and level the surface. In the case of large irregularities, it is recommended to apply a leveling layer of cement mortar. On the existing side walls, at the point of contact with the MultiGips walls, a flexible tape made of pressed cork or AkustikPro tape is glued with gypsum adhesive.

Installation of the first layer: It is recommended to lay the floor groove after cutting the floor. Installation of the boards begins with whole or cut boards, remembering that the vertical joints of the next layer boards must be shifted by at least 10 cm. Gypsum adhesive is applied to the tapes glued to the ground and to the wall, and then pushes the panel firmly against the glued surfaces. Installation of subsequent panels is done in a similar way. Gypsum adhesive should flow out of the joint after each pressing of the boards. After bricklaying the first layer of panels, correct its deviations from a straight line and set the vertical.

Assembly of subsequent layers: The assembly of the second layer begins after the initial setting of the gypsum adhesive of the first layer, i.e. after approx. 40 min. Apply gypsum adhesive to vertical and horizontal gullies of already mounted panels. Firmly move the mounted panel so that the adhesive flows out from the sides. Check the vertical position of the plate. Collect excess adhesive. Depending on the bricklayer's skill, he can make 2-3 layers without waiting for the adhesive to set in the bottom layer.

Installation of the last layer: Depending on the height of the room, the panels can be placed as standard or standing on the last layer. The panels in the last layer are cut diagonally in such a way that after their installation the distance between the ceiling and the edges of the panel is 1-3 cm. Clean the places where the plates are cut. Using gypsum adhesive, elastic tape made of pressed cork or AkustikPro is glued to the ceiling. The remaining space is filled with MultiGips FG70 gypsum mortar. Press the mortar from the wider gap side so that it flows out the other way.
