Product description

Isomur Plus closes the thermal insulation gap at the contact:

  • structural wall with foundation wall
  • a partition wall with a ceiling above an unheated basement / garage
  • ground floor in the basement building

As a result, it closes the insulation strip "insulation of the outer wall - insulation of the floor" and thermal "isolation" of the building from the ground. This allows very effective removal of the significant thermal bridge occurring in this zone in the vertical direction.

The use of insulating blocks increases the temperature level of the internal surfaces of the walls in the base of the building well above the dew point (condensation) and effectively eliminates the risk of spore formation in fungus.

ISOMUR Plus is built of a load-bearing skeleton made of lightweight reinforced concrete with glass fiber and EPS foam insulation. Thanks to the original spatial configuration of the support core, it can transfer significant compressive stress to the foundation walls of the object and allows it to erect buildings on it up to four above-ground floors.

Isomur is therefore an element that performs two functions: thermal insulation of the building plinth and transfer of compressive loads from structural walls to the building foundation.

In addition, due to the selection of a suitable mix of lightweight concrete and its structure (low porosity), the effect of additional horizontal moisture insulation is obtained, preventing water from rising through to the wall layers laid on the block.

Advantages

ISOMUR Plus effectively solves the problem of thermal bridges in the base part of the building, thanks to its characteristic properties:

  • they have a low thermal conductivity coefficient, while maintaining high compressive strength (they allow it to be erected on it up to 4 storeys)
  • affect the raising of the temperature level on the wall surfaces in the pedestal and the corners of the rooms
  • reduce the risk of fungal formation in molds that occur under the influence of moisture ("dew" phenomenon)
  • have a positive effect on the healthy microclimate in the room
  • they minimize heat loss, which has a huge impact on reducing the cost of heating rooms
  • the elements are only slightly absorbable, and therefore there is no reduction in the insulation properties of the block
  • low water absorption is an additional insulation against capillary rising of water to the wall layers set on the block
  • embedding the element in is simple and trouble-free
  • High quality and dimensional accuracy do not require any special treatment at the masonry stage
  • proven solution (in Switzerland since 1985, in Germany since 1992 on the market)
  • using ISOMUR Plus, you can use the exact method of calculating the building's energy demand, and therefore save another 5 or even 10% of the calculated energy demand of the object. This is important for classification in the light of the new Energy Directive.
