Sika - Sikaflex-290DC Pro deck sealant

Sikaflex 290 DC PRO is a one-component polyurethane based sealant. It was created with the intention of using it in the shipbuilding industry to seal decks covered with wood. It is characterized by excellent resistance to weather conditions, therefore it is perfect for sealing external joints, especially exposed to the influence of the marine environment. The sealant cures to form a flexible elastomer. This allows for quick and easy grinding. Complies with the regulations set out by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Application

It was created for sealing traditional wooden decks in ships, boats and yachts. It is recommended to carry out the test for the current conditions and selected surfaces in order to ensure adhesion and proper selection of the material in.
