Koester - two-component waterproofing coating Koester 21

Crack-bridging mineral, white, elastic coating. It has high resistance to mineral oils and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Resistant to pressurized water and mineral oils.

Properties

• two-component, solvent-free, liquid consistency
• flexible and crack bridging waterproofing material
• very high adhesion to wet and dry surfaces
• liquid consistency, thanks to which it is very easy to apply, even on complex structural elements
• coating resistant to UV radiation, which allows it to be used outdoors and indoors
• the white color reflects solar radiation, preventing the coating from heating up
• the coating has a short setting time
• high flexibility,
• resistance to aging, poor pedestrian traffic, hydrolysis and de-icing salts
• frost-resistant product
• the material is resistant to oil in synthetic and aliphatic hydrocarbons at high boiling point (up to 2 bar)
• the product is not resistant to substances containing aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, xylene, toluene
• does not contain volatile organic substances (VOC = 0),
• does not contain polyurethane, isocyanate or bitumen

Application

• underfloor waterproofing in buildings
• waterproofing foundation in (on the side of pressing water)
• waterproofing the tank in the flat roof above unheated rooms
• insulation under ceramic cladding, on terraces, balconies, it can also be used as a protective coating against mineral oils and aliphatic hydrocarbons
• Suitable for use as surface protection against mechanical and chemical stress, e.g. in oil sedimentation tanks
• good adhesion to masonry surfaces, concrete, cement screeds, metal, bitumen and PVC
