This coating is chemically inert, which means that it does not contaminate either soil, water or air, and is safe for humans and animals. Thanks to its unique, pore structure, Plantem agrotextile allows water and liquid fertilizers to penetrate the soil, up to the roots of plants and allow the soil to breathe. At the same time, Plantex retains moisture and heat of the earth. Covered with bark, it doesn't let in light and protects plants against weeds. Covered with the right amount of bark, chips or gravel, Plantex will last for over 20 years. The layer of bark and chips will remain uniform, it will not mix with the ground, so there will be no need to top it up every year.
