Darco - chimney cowls - rotowent tubular base (opened)

Rotowent tubular base (open) is a classic self-aligning base on plain bearings. The ROTOWENT self-adjusting chimney cowl (on plain bearings) is a device that dynamically uses wind power to support the chimney draft. Regardless of the direction, strength and type of wind, the hubcap outlet is positioned on the leeward side of the blowing wind. It is mounted on gravitational, exhaust and smoke exhaust chimney outlets.

• to support gravity exhaust ventilation and draft in flue and smoke chimneys
• when there are air swirls at the chimney outlet caused by its unfavorable location
• with unfavorable terrain configuration, strong and frequent winds (wind zone II and III)
• when there is no stabilized chimney draft or it is too small
