The Freshbox E1-100 air handling unit with a counter-flow heat exchanger is used for supply and exhaust ventilation with heat recovery. It is equipped with an electric auxiliary heater to raise the air temperature if necessary. It is the optimal energy-saving ventilation of individual rooms in apartments, houses, social and utility rooms, both in new and renovated buildings. It helps to significantly reduce heat loss during ventilation. Provides regulation of air exchange to create an individual microclimate. Possibility to connect an additional exhaust duct to extract air from the bathroom. The control panel is available in white.

Building

The metal housing is made of steel with a polymer coating and a decorative acrylic front panel. Initial and acoustic insulation is provided by a 10 mm layer of synthetic cellular rubber. The front panel provides convenient access to the filter and has a lock for added security. The device is equipped with two 100 mm spindles: fresh air inlet and exhaust air outlet. The third end 100 mm can be installed additionally to connect the ventilation duct from the bathroom. The fans have efficient electronically commutated (EC) motors with an external rotor and impellers with forward curved blades. The EC motor is characterized by very good operating parameters and optimal control over the full speed range. The efficiency of the electronically commutated motor reaches even 90%.

The Freshbox E1-100 unit is equipped with a counter-flow heat exchanger made of polystyrene. In cold season, heat from the extract air is captured and directed to the supply air stream, which reduces heat loss. In hot weather, the reverse process allows to reduce the temperature of the air blown inside. Heat exchange may be accompanied by condensation. The condensate is collected in the drip tray and removed from the exhaust duct.
