Product description
A one-component, cement-based primer containing a corrosive inhibitor (inhibiting agent). When mixed with water, it is easy to apply by brush or spraying, providing effective corrosion protection for reinforcing steel in structural concrete. It is used as a protection of reinforcing steel against corrosion and as a priming layer during repairs of elements in reinforced concrete.
Features
- the anti-corrosion inhibitor prevents the progressive corrosion significantly extending the life of a given structure
- moisture has no effect on it
- creates a highly passivating layer on steel that protects against water, chlorides and CO 2 diffusion
- does not require a dry substrate to be used
- eco-friendly
- odorless, also to be used in poorly ventilated rooms
- one-component
- adheres perfectly to steel
- only water is needed for the mixture
Application
- anti-corrosion protection of reinforcing steel as part of repairs of all concrete structures bridge in, coastal structures, underground pipeline in, foundation in, industrial structures, cooling towers, tank in, retaining walls, etc.
- protection of reinforcing steel corroded due to a loss in concrete or poor quality concrete
- primer before the application of repair mortars
- prophylactic protection of new or old reinforcing steel against the carbonation process, the impact of the marine environment, salt removing glaciation, aggressive pollution, etc.
